The Halo Effect by Phil Rosenzweig
Phil Rosenzweig, a professor from IMD, gives examples of how business leaders can be perceived to be successful in number of different areas when their companies are doing well. This applies to investment manager selection as well, as there is always a significant risk of the manager’s past performance impacting how one qualitatively assesses their different attributes.
